Testimony Against California Senate Joint Resolution 5 (SJR 5)
Every year politicians sympathetic to Armenian lobbies bring up a cookie-cutter resolution commemorating an alleged "Armenian genocide" in states where Armenians have political influence. This cookie-cutter resolution template is designed for maximum effectiveness through the stacking of untrue, inaccurate, and even absurd misinformation in a manner which requires a detailed discourse to untangle. No three minute discussion in front of a political group can hope to refute this resolution without a backing document.
It is our hope that this document carefully brought together by TAAF members, and reviewed by a reputable retired American professor of history will be helpful in all states where Turkish-Americans wish to stand up against the misinformation campaign waged by Armenian lobbies.
