Mr. Mete is the President of Turkish Peace and Justice Committee, and a Director of Turkish American Alliance for Fairness. He works as a business Consultant, and has been a researcher and an educator. He has been a long-time community activist as well.

The TAAF board was honored to host Professor Emeritus Türkaya Ataöv in San Francisco on June 13th, 2008. Prof. Ataov is extremely busy and lives in Turkey, therefore we invited the Turkish American community in California to join us to meet and listen Prof. Ataov as this may be once in a life time opportunity.
